Aftercare Treatment

Hijama marks will heal in 2-3 days to a week sometimes it can take up to 2 weeks.

  1. Apply olive oil, black seed oil or aloe vera gel.

  2. Eat some dates or drink some honey with water to bring your energy levels back up. 

  3. Rest over the next 24 hours and avoid any strenuous exercises. 

  4. For best results, you should take a walk for 15 to 20 minutes or more. If you feel dizzy or light headed, lie down and raise your legs. Slowly stand up after 15 minutes if you feel better.

  5. Avoid marital relations for 24 hours after Hijama session. 

  6. Drink lots of water to help detox your body and remove any unwanted toxins. 

  7. Avoid eating meat and dairy for 24hours, this will help with healing process.  

  8. Use oil around the places where you have been cupped with olive or black seed oil or even aloe vera gel as often as possible, this will also help with the healing process and soothe any itchiness or irritation you may experience. 

  9. Do not scratch the cupped areas.

  10. Take a warm shower after an hour but avoid using any soaps and shower gel on the areas that have been cupped.
